Conservation Biology

Laboratory facilities designed for analytical biochemistry using molecular techniques to determine genetic structure, especially of Appalachian animals. Equipment in laboratory designed to handle a wide array of biochemical techniques on both animals and plants. Paleoecology, specifically separation and identification of pollen from sediment cores is also performed in this laboratory.
