Main Lobby

The main lobby is a 1,200 sq. ft. entrance area with terrazzo flooring. The space has several setting areas furnished with chairs, sofas and tables. The second and third floors can be accessed by the main stairwell or by using the elevator to the left of the main stairwell. The lobby is open to the third floor with a bridge connecting the administration wing to the laboratory wing. The building directory and several display cases are housed in the lobby. The IVN Room, Small Conference Room, Teaching Classroom, Kitchen and 1st floor office wing are all accessible from the main Lobby. The rear doors of the main Lobby open to the Environmental Education Area and patio area. The architectural block, stainless steel staircase and glue laminated wood beam ceiling are a few of the special features in the lobby which make it the perfect place for the many special events held at the lab.
